The MBSR program interlaces the wisdom of Buddhism, neuroscience and psychology to provide you with a deep understanding of mindfulness practices and how to make them part of your self-care routine. The classes consist of presentations, group discussion, reflective writing, meditation, and mindful movement. There will be weekly assignments to support integrating the material. You will be provided with a booklet and recorded instruction to assist with at-home practices. In this eight-week journey, you will discover the barriers that keep you feeling your best and learn how to overcome them.
